Danbury clean energy device manufacturer FuelCell Energy completed construction of the world’s largest fuel cell park in South Korea.
The Gyeonggi Green Energy park in Hwasung City, South Korea became fully operational in mid-February. The facility consists of 21 fuel cells with a total output of 59 megawatts of electricity.
The construction process lasted 13 months. FuelCell’s partner POSCO Energy performed the installation and construction.
FuelCell keeps moving along in South Korea, too, announcing the groundbreaking of a 20 meagawatts fuel cell park in Seoul City, part of an initiative to phase out nuclear power in the Asian country.
