2020 Legislative Session:
On April 21st Legislative Leaders announced that the regular 2020 legislative session will not reconvene before the May 6 constitutional adjournment date. The regular session has effectively ended for the year, however leaders have agreed to convene a special session as early as June. The agenda for the special session has yet to be determined but will likely include items considered essential to the running of state government. They may also consider legislation that was introduced during the 2020 session and have asked committee chairs to determine priority issues. No date has been set yet for a special session and we will update you as we learn more about their proposed agenda.
