Danbury clean energy manufacturer FuelCell Energy has appointed two new members to its board of directors, increasing the size of the board to 10.
Paul Browning, former president and CEO of the Irving Oil Co., will join the board and serve on its compensation and government affairs committees. Before his time at Irving, he led GE’s thermal products division, which is a $7 billion division within GE Power and Water.
Matthew Hilzinger, executive vice president and chief financial officer for USG Corp., will join the board and serve on its audit & finance committee and nominating & corporate governance committee. Hilzinger previously served as CFO for Chicago energy giant Exelon.
These are the second and third new members to join the FuelCell board this year, after the company added a former Citigroup executive following the contentious resignation of 22-year veteran of the board.
