The City of Boston announced this week that it is seeking proposals from installers of small-scale solar photovoltaic systems as part of its new Renew Boston Solarize Program 2013. We’re proud to report the Boston program is based off of the Solarize Mass ® program, which we launched in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) in 2011. The City of Boston participated in the 2012 Solarize Mass program, which resulted in 116 solar projects being contracted within the city limits.
While the Renew Boston Solarize program is not associated with Solarize Mass, we applaud the City of Boston’s leadership in encouraging residents and businesses to adopt clean sources of energy by adopting a similar program model.

Sincerely,
The Commonwealth Solar Team
