Mike Callahan is a registered professional engineer and Vice President of Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. a full service engineering firm located in Manchester, Connecticut. Mike is a senior electrical design engineer and manages the mechanical and electrical engineering department at Fuss & O’Neill. He has 30 years of experience in all aspects of electrical systems design and a strong interest and special expertise in energy conservation and the application of alternative energy systems for public works, institutional, commercial, and industrial projects. Mitchell Wurmbrand is a Certified Consulting Meterologist and a Vice President in GZA’s Glastonbury, Connecticut office. Mitchell heads up the environmental compliance group in that office and, in that role, has worked on numerous power projects whose energy production is generated from various fossil fuels, nuclear, municipal solid waste, landfill gas and, more recently, solar, wind and geothermal. Mitchell actively participates in the Connecticut Power and Energy Society, the Environmental Business Council of New England’s Renewable Energy Committee Leadership’s Team.

Chris Halpin is the President of Celtic Energy, Inc. an independent energy consulting firm he founded in 2000, specializing in energy efficiency, performance contracting consulting, and sustainable/green building consulting, with four offices across the country. Celtic Energy assists clients in reducing energy costs locally, nationally, and internationally.
Chris has been active in the energy efficiency industry for 28 years, working for several premiere ESCOs and consulting firms in various roles including engineering, management, and sales. He is also the former Global Energy Manager for NCR Corporation. In 2009 he was selected by US Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu to be an official Recovery Act Proposal Reviewer for EECBG, SmartGrid and Renewable Energy proposals.
His public clients include the US Department of Energy, all branches of the military, Energy Offices of North Carolina, Nevada, Rhode Island, Louisiana, the CT Clean Energy Finance & Investment Authority, nine campuses of UNC, and dozens of states, cities and school districts across the country. Chris has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a registered Professional Engineer in seven states and the Republic of Ireland. He is a Certified Energy Manager, and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional by the Association of Energy Engineers, and a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional (since 2003) by the US Green Building Council. In 2011 he was honored by the Association of Energy Engineers as a ‘Legend in Energy’ at the 34th Annual World Energy Engineering Congress.

Jonathan Gordon is an independent energy policy consultant and a 28-year veteran of the energy industry working in issues ranging from power markets to regulation to legislative affairs. Formerly the Senior Manager of External Affairs for NRG Energy, Inc., a Fortune 500 company that owns and operates one of the country’s largest and most diverse power generation portfolios, and is the largest solar wholesale power generator in the U.S. Jon wa responsible for external, legislative, regulatory and public policy issues relative to NRG’s operations and development efforts in the Northeast, and has over 25 years of electric power experience. Jon has provided expert testimony on matters pertaining to electric power and energy markets before the Connecticut Legislature, the CT Energy and Technology Committee, the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Utilities, the Massachusetts Dept. of Energy Resources, the Connecticut Public Utility Authority, the Connecticut Siting Council and the Connecticut Advisory Board. Jon was appointed by the Governor of Connecticut in 2007 to serve on the Conneticut Fuel Oil Conservation Board, and serves on the Board of the Connecticut Power and Energy Society. Additionally, he is a former Trustee and Treasurer for the Henry Carter Hull Library.

Lori is the Director of Business Develoment, New England for Gehrlicher Solar. Gehrlicher Solar America Corporation is the United States subsidiary of one of the world’s largest independent solar integrators – Gehrlicher Solar AG, which is headquartered outside Munich, Germany. Lori is focused on large commercial and utility sales and project development in the New England States. Lori has over 25 years of experience with a focus on municipal clean energy program development, particularly solar projects. Prior to joining Gerhlicher, Lori worked for Nexamp, the largest solar project develoment company headquartered in Massachusetts. She managed a federal stimulus-funded initiative to install 4.2MW of solar arrays at thirteen water and wastewater treatment plants statewide and then led their business development efforts in Connecticut. Her most visible project is the installation of a 468KW solar “Brightfield” in Brockton (for three years, the largest solar power plant in New England and largest Brightfield Nationwide). She is an active member of the New England Clean Energy Council’s Policy Committee.

Chris Bleuher is responsible for the business development in Connecticut of Schneider Electric’s Energy Solutions division. With over ten years of combined industry and management experience, Chris works to educate thought leaders around implementing a continuous energy management lifecycle approach to the growth of their enterprise. Throughout his involvement in Connecticut’s municipal, education and healthcare energy markets, Chris has been instrumental in supporting energy legislation in the State, specifically PA 11-80, and the development of energy performance contracting to local governments. Chris also brings experience in this realm through his work in Vermont to construct and drive the successful implementation of performance contracting legislation in 2007. He has worked under ESPC legislation in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

Shaun is a recognized thought leader in renewable energy. He has been recognized by the Alliance for Clean Energy NY for outstanding leadership and is the chair of the state policy committee for SEIA in New York. He was a lead author for the nationally recognized Feeding the Grid; a survey of best practices around the nation in net metering and interconnection. Shaun was an early leader of the effort to get a comprehensive energy bill passed in the Connecticut Legislature. He has worked in both the private and non-profit sectors covering renewable energy and energy efficiency. He works for SolarCity, a national leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency development and installation. Shaun is a triathlete.
